About the role
Anishnabe Long-Term Care Centre is seeking caring, dependable, and adaptable individuals for a part-time casual Integrated Services Worker position. This cross-trained role supports Dietary Services and Housekeeping, helping provide residents with care and services in a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, meal service, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation.
- Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms, common areas, and service spaces.
- Assist with laundry services as required.
- Work across departments based on daily operational needs.
- Follow infection prevention, food safety, WHMIS, and organizational policies.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging home for residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in long-term care, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment is an asset.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in multiple departments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform cleaning, lifting, standing, walking, and other job-related duties.
- Food Handler Certification, WHMIS, and Infection Prevention training, or willingness to obtain them.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check, or ability to obtain one.
