Intermediate Industrial Control Systems Programmer – PLC and HMI

About the role

You’ll work on a long-term program migrating legacy Modicon control systems to Schneider Electric M580 at operating pipeline facilities, from the PLC logic to the operator screens.

Tasks

• Support the conversion and testing of PLC logic from Modicon to Schneider M580
• Migrate operator screens to Ignition, consistent across sites
• Support commissioning and live cutovers at facilities that keep running
• Build reusable code blocks and templates that make each site faster than the last

Requirements

• Hands-on experience programming industrial control systems (PLC and/or HMI) on at least one major platform, such as Schneider, Ignition or Rockwell/Allen-Bradley.

Schedule

• A long-term program, not a one-off project
• Based in our Calgary office, with site periods in the Grande Prairie area 2–3 times a year.
