Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing n-tier enterprise applications
• 7+ years of hands-on Java Enterprise technology development
• Strong expertise in application design, design patterns, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Extensive hands-on development and troubleshooting experience with the Java EE platform
• Strong experience with JPA or Hibernate and the Spring Framework
• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL; experience with Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL is highly desirable
• Proficiency with Eclipse IDE or Rational Application Developer (RAD)
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or jQuery
• Nice-to-have: Agile/Scrum, user stories, continuous integration (CI), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automated testing
• Nice-to-have: Web services development and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Nice-to-have: BPM and workflow tools: Camunda, jBPM, Activiti, IBM Process Server, or Drools
• Nice-to-have: Security frameworks: Spring Security, Apache Shiro, or ForgeRock
• Nice-to-have: AWS services, including Aurora Serverless, Athena, S3, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch

Schedule

• Onsite - 5 days per week
• Contract Duration: 9 months
• Monday–Friday, 7.25 working hours per day

Pay

• CAD $70–$80/hour (INC)
