International Procurement Specialist

Tasks

• Responsible for procuring parts from overseas and importing them to the Monterrey plant, ensuring stable delivery from overseas suppliers, controlled procurement costs, and timely resolution of after-sales issues.
• Develop procurement plans, source and manage overseas suppliers, independently handle inquiries, price comparisons, negotiations, contract signing, and full order-cycle follow-up to ensure parts are delivered on time from abroad to the Mexico plant.
• Lead price negotiations, design cost-reduction plans, conduct regular price comparisons and cost analysis, optimize payment and trade terms, and keep procurement costs within target.
• Work with the Quality department to handle incoming-material defects, returns, replacements and after-sales claims, drive overseas suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues promptly, and maintain supplier performance evaluations.
• Liaise with customs brokers and international logistics, be familiar with trade terms such as FOB / CIF, and ensure goods arrive in Monterrey compliantly and smoothly.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Logistics and other departments to close the loop on supply chain issues.

Requirements

• Spanish + English fluency required; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or above in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Materials / Metallurgy / Tooling, etc.).
• At least 3 years of procurement / supply chain experience, including at least 1 year in international procurement or import/export operations.
