As an Internet Safety Evaluator, you will be instrumental in protecting users from offensive or inappropriate content, enhancing user experience, and supporting the growth of the AI ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Evaluate online video search results for relevance, accuracy, and quality to improve search algorithms and user satisfaction. Review video content to identify and flag potential upsetting, offensive, or harmful material, ensuring safer internet browsing for all users. Provide detailed feedback and ratings on video content to help refine AI-driven content moderation systems. Analyze trends in social media, memes, and viral content to understand evolving online dynamics and inform evaluation criteria. Collaborate with the TELUS Digital community to share insights and contribute to well-being initiatives supporting remote freelancers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current events, cultural affairs, and media trends in the United States to ensure contextual accuracy in evaluations. Use various web browsers and social media platforms effectively to navigate and assess diverse online content. Document findings clearly and consistently to support data-driven improvements in AI content filtering technologies. What We're Looking For Required: Full professional proficiency in English with excellent communication skills. Residency in the United States for at least the past 3 consecutive years. Strong familiarity with U.S. business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs. Experience using Gmail, Google+, and other social media platforms actively. Ability to work independently as a freelancer with reliable internet access. Comfortable navigating multiple web browsers and online environments. Preferred: Prior experience in content review, moderation, or digital evaluation roles. Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts related to content filtering.
