Investment Management Paralegal

Our client is a leading private investment firm seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its in-house Legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role offers broad exposure across commercial contracts, corporate governance, legal operations, and investment-related matters.

Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and revise a broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, engagement letters, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, service agreements, and other legal documentation.Support legal matters across the firm's investment platform and affiliated businesses, coordinating projects and assisting with day-to-day legal operations.Assist with investment-related transactions and the preparation, organization, and management of legal documentation.Maintain contract templates, legal policies, and contract playbooks to improve efficiency across the Legal Department.Support regulatory compliance through documentation, recordkeeping, and entity management.Coordinate with outside counsel and third-party service providers on a variety of legal matters.Assist with corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records and supporting board-related matters.Contribute to legal operations initiatives and process improvements across the Legal function.
Qualifications3+ years of paralegal experience.Experience within private equity, asset management, investment management, banking, or another regulated financial institution, or supporting these clients within a law firm.Strong experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and legal documentation.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential information with sound professional judgment.Experience supporting an in-house Legal Department or General Counsel is preferred.Exposure to private funds, investment transactions, or fund formation is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, contract management systems, and AI-powered productivity tools.
