About the Role
Softstandard Solutions is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to build and maintain native applications and features for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. In this full-time W-2 contract role, you will contribute throughout the app lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and App Store release.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype native iOS apps and features for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, including concept, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and App Store release.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and backend teams to improve iOS applications.
- Write high-quality, efficient, maintainable code using established programming practices.
- Conduct unit testing and address edge cases to support usability, robustness, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Build and maintain reusable code designed for scalability and long-term performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 4 years of iOS development experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of current iOS features.
- Proficiency in Swift and Cocoa Touch.
- Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Fluency in object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
- Experience consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of multiple frameworks and third-party library integration.
- Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
- Experience with Objective-C is a plus.
- Experience with Swift Charts is a plus.
