IT Security Specialist

Tasks

• Work hands-on with firewalls, VPNs, DNS, routing, NAT and troubleshoot issues independently
• Remediate vulnerabilities, harden systems and apply security patches on Windows Server and Linux
• Manage access controls and security configurations
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, working with IT, network, and NOC teams and external providers

Requirements

• Real-world, hands-on security and networking experience
• Windows Server and Linux administration
• 3+ years in cybersecurity or security operations (telecom or critical infrastructure is a plus)
• Experience working alongside third-party security providers
• CISSP, CISM, or CCSP is an asset

Schedule

• Full time
• Hybrid, 3 days onsite
