Java AWS Developer (Gen AI/Agentic AI)

Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain high‐performance backend services using Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
• Architect microservices with Spring Cloud: service discovery, API gateway, configuration, resilience, and distributed tracing.
• Build RESTful APIs and event‐driven workflows using Kafka, Amazon SQS/SNS, or EventBridge.
• Deliver serverless components on AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions when appropriate.
• Containerize and deploy services on ECS/EKS or Lambda, employing Docker and IaC (Terraform, CDK).
• Work with relational and NoSQL stores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB) via Spring Data, Hibernate, and cache with Redis.
• Secure APIs with Spring Security, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and RBAC.
• Leverage AI‐assisted development tools to accelerate coding and integration of AI services (e.g., AWS Bedrock).
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, front‐end and data teams.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, CI/CD, automated tests, and cloud‐native best practices.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‐ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement).

Requirements

• 10+ years of Java development with deep Spring Boot expertise (MVC/WebFlux, Data JPA, Security, Cloud).
• Proven experience designing and operating microservices at scale, including API design and resilience patterns.
• Hands‐on AWS experience: Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL and caching (Redis).
• Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWT, and Spring Security RBAC.
