About the role

Healthcare Payer Enrollment and Billing applications

Tasks

• Design, develop and enhance Healthcare Payer Enrollment and Billing applications, including backend services, APIs, business components and integrations.
• Develop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices supporting enrollment, billing and related healthcare business processes.
• Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions and participate across design, coding, testing, deployment and production support.
• Develop and optimize database components, APIs, event-driven integrations and batch-processing capabilities.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
• Ensure code quality through unit/integration testing, code reviews, security standards and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience, with strong expertise in Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Microservices.
• Mandatory hands-on development experience in Healthcare Payer Enrollment and Billing applications/processes.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, SQL and relational databases, preferably #DB2/ #PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with #Kafka or enterprise messaging technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle and automated testing using JUnit/Mockito.
• Good understanding of application security including OAuth2, JWT and Spring Security.
