Java Developer Contract Job in Bellevue, WA

Meher is hiring a Java Developer for a contract position in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will build and maintain Java applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable software delivery. This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications that meet project specifications.
• Work with developers, QA engineers, product designers, and stakeholders to define and deliver features.
• Integrate backend services and manage data using RESTful APIs.
• Apply Spring and Hibernate frameworks to support application functionality.
• Participate in Agile development, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Write SQL queries and support database management, data integrity, and performance.
• Review code, debug issues, and uphold software quality standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• A master's degree is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
