The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Duties and Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine plumbing system layouts. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for plumbing tasks. Perform welding for pipe connections and repairs as required. Collaborate with construction professionals such as carpenters to ensure smooth project execution. Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Execute plumbing adjustments and installations during remodeling projects. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and construction site regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. Strong mechanical aptitude with effective troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with construction plumbing practices and techniques. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to plumbing work. Basic math skills for accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of pipes. Ability to work independently or collaboratively on construction sites.
