Journeyperson Automotive Mechanic

Tasks

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension components.
• Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and tune-ups.
• Test vehicle systems and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications.
• Use automotive hand tools, power tools, and specialized repair equipment.
• Maintain accurate repair records and follow workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Journeyperson certification
• Valid driver's license
• Attention to detail, dependability, and teamwork
• Vehicle inspection certification is an asset.

Schedule

• Full-Time

Pay

• $35.00/hour
• Starting at $35.00/hour.
