Junior Digital Designer Job in Cape Town, South Africa

Salary: R10 000.00 – R15 000.00 Basic per month – negotiable based on experience.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:00h – 17:00h.

Work Arrangements: Fully onsite with no flexibility / Office based.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Support the Marketing team by creating innovative, high-quality digital and print content that enhances the client’s brand, drives customer engagement, and supports marketing, sales, retail, and product launch initiatives across all channels.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

• Graduate or 1–2 years' experience in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or Marketing environment.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, or Food Manufacturing industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects is advantageous.
• Experience using Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
• Knowledge of preparing artwork for commercial print production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce creative artwork for digital, print, retail, and internal communication platforms.
• Create engaging content for social media, websites, email campaigns, digital advertising, and e-commerce platforms.
• Develop marketing collateral including brochures, catalogues, flyers, point-of-sale (POS) material, and presentations.
