Junior Network Engineer

Tasks

• Install and configure basic network hardware, systems, and software.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive network administration tasks.
• Support routing, switching, IP networking, and network security processes.
• Prepare system performance and configuration reports.
• Perform basic root cause analysis and report issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and update procedures.
• Participate in evaluating new hardware and software solutions.
• Support network installations, enhancements, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Entry-Level | 0-1 Years
• Basic knowledge of network routing protocols.
• Understanding of routing, switching, IP, and signaling technologies.
• Basic knowledge of the ITIL framework.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Candidates without a degree may be considered with 2+ years of relevant, equivalent experience.
