📍 Location: Washington, DC 20024
🏢 Work Arrangement: Onsite

Key Requirements:
Bachelor's or graduate degree in juvenile justice, social work, or a related field
Extensive experience with juvenile justice policies, procedures, and federal and District legislation
Expertise in facility assessments, complaint investigations, and objective reporting
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters and present evidence-based recommendations
Significant experience working with complex juvenile justice and youth rehabilitation issues
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct announced and unannounced facility visits
Investigate complaints and potential policy or legal violations
Monitor DYRS compliance and corrective actions
Prepare quarterly performance reports and recommendations
Identify systemic issues and advocate for improvements in youth safety and services
