Kafka Engineer

Requirements

• US Citizens & Green Card holders only
• Must live within a 1-hour commute of Centennial, CO 80111
• Apache Kafka / Confluent Platform administration
• Production cluster design, upgrades, patching & performance tuning
• Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, topics & partitions
• Terraform, Ansible & Infrastructure as Code
• Python / Shell scripting and Git-based CI/CD
• Kafka security: TLS, SASL, ACLs & RBAC
• High availability, replication & disaster recovery
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana & Confluent Control Center
• Troubleshooting, incident management & root cause analysis
• 3+ years of hands-on enterprise Kafka administration experience
• Strong infrastructure automation and production support expertise
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Schedule

• Contract – 1 Year
• Onsite 4 days per week
• Willingness to work onsite in the Denver area 4 days per week
