Job description
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Apache Kafka / Confluent Platform administration.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka cluster management, broker configuration, replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Control Center.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python/Shell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Kafka security: TLS, SASL, ACLs, and RBAC.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, backup, and recovery.
- Exposure to AWS/MSK, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is a plus.
- Excellent communication and production troubleshooting skills.
