About the role
Confidential is seeking a kitchen hand for a small, family-owned early learning centre with a close team. The position has consistent weekday hours from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Meals arrive prepared, so cooking from scratch is not required.
Responsibilities
- Heat and serve meals.
- Prepare morning, lunch and afternoon tea.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and complete relevant kitchen paperwork.
- Assist educators to reset studios, complete general cleaning and help keep the centre looking beautiful throughout the day.
Requirements
- A current Blue Card is essential.
- Be extremely reliable, organised and proactive, and happy to help wherever needed.
- Be comfortable working independently and staying on top of the daily routine without constant direction.
- Previous experience in a childcare kitchen, commercial kitchen, hospitality, cleaning or a similar support role is highly regarded.
