Kitchen Hand Position Immediate Start

Monday to Friday position with consistent weekday hours 8:30am to 2:30pm.

There is no cooking from scratch required — our meals arrive prepared. The role is focused on keeping the kitchen and the day running smoothly, including heating and serving meals, preparing morning/lunch/afternoon tea, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, completing relevant kitchen paperwork, assisting educators to reset studios, general cleaning and helping keep the centre looking beautiful throughout the day.

We’re looking for someone who is extremely reliable, organised, proactive and happy to get in and help wherever needed. You need to be comfortable working independently and able to stay on top of the daily routine without needing constant direction.

A current Blue Card is essential, and previous experience in a childcare kitchen, commercial kitchen, hospitality, cleaning or a similar support role would be highly regarded.

We are a small, family-owned early learning centre with a close team, so finding someone dependable who fits well into our centre is really important to us.
