Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Kubernetes Engineer (DevOps) to support a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating existing virtual machine-based application deployments to Kubernetes-driven containerized environments while maintaining and enhancing infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the migration of applications from virtual machines (VMs) to Kubernetes clusters.
Design, configure, deploy, and manage Kubernetes environments.
Build and maintain Kubernetes deployment pipelines.
Containerize existing applications and ensure seamless deployment within Kubernetes environments.
Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
Enhance and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Implement, configure, and optimize monitoring solutions using ELK Stack / Elastic Cloud.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Leverage AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot to develop and enhance automation workflows.
Perform Unix/Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster setup, deployment, configuration, and management.
Experience working with cloud environments; private cloud experience preferred.
Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Strong understanding of Docker, containerization, and deployment strategies.
Hands-on experience with ELK Stack / Elastic Cloud monitoring solutions.
Strong Unix/Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with OpenShift.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Experience in large-scale infrastructur
