Job description
About the role
Confidential is seeking a Lab Technician to support laboratory operations and food product processing. Work is no more than 8 hours per day and is not very physically demanding, though the work is complex. You will work with four other lab employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bacteria sampling and testing, including plating and incubating bacteria tests.
- Package and pasteurize product, and use food science equipment to process product.
- Ensure efficient lab operations.
- Clean and maintain the laboratory.
- Follow strict lab procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- Speak and write fluent English, communicate well, and be extremely cleanly.
- Be open to sometimes odd work hours and weekend work.
- Science graduates are welcome; experienced technicians are preferred.
- Registered microbiologists and candidates with food science backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
