The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join our Financial District area office. This role focuses on managing a high-volume caseload across pre-litigation and active litigation, with an emphasis on written advocacy, case development, and driving matters toward resolution.The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple matters while contributing to broader case strategy and preparation.

Conduct client consultations and evaluate potential claimsManage a high-volume caseload across pre-litigation and litigation mattersDraft substantive written work, including:Rebuttals and pre-suit advocacy submissionsEEOC responses and position statement rebuttalsDamages analyses and case summariesConduct legal research and draft supporting memorandaDraft complaints, discovery demands, motions, and other pleadingsManage and organize discovery, including document review and productionsReview, analyze, and redline settlement agreementsPrepare clients for mediations and assist in mediation strategyAssist in preparing for depositions, mediations, and negotiations, including:Drafting mediation statementsOrganizing exhibits and supporting materialsDeveloping case summaries and strategy materialsParticipate in calls with opposing counsel and contribute to case positioning and negotiationsSupport trial preparation and overall case developmentWork closely with paralegals and staff to ensure matters are progressing efficientlyQualifications3–5 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experienceStrong writing and legal research skills (this is critical)Experience handling pre-litigation matters and EEOC processesExperience drafting pleadings, motions, and substantive legal documentsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize effectivelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailClear, professional communication skillsProactive mindset with strong follow-throughAdmission to the New York State Bar (required)New Jersey admission preferred; Connecticut or Pennsylvania a plusCompensationBase salary: $125,000-$200,000 (Salary commensurate with experience)Additional compensation: commission on settlementsWhy Join UsHands-on role with meaningful responsibility across pre-litigation and litigationDirect exposure to mediation strategy, negotiations, and case developmentFast-paced, collaborative environmentOpportunity to work on high-value employment matters
