LABORATORY ASSISTANT
COSMETIC PROTOTYPE & QC

Detail-oriented and safety-conscious Lab Assistant with experience in chemic prototype batching, quality control testing, and strict GMP compliance. Proven ability to support cosmetic chemists by executing precise formulas, maintaining calibrated equipment, and managing raw material inventories. Able to contribute technical skills and organizational efficiency to a cosmetic manufacturing and development team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- FORMULATED PROTOTYPES:
Compounded laboratory-experimental batches for skincare and hair care cosmetic products following exact chemist specifications.
- EXECUTED QUALITY TESTING:
Conducted daily physical and verification testing on raw materials and finished batches, ensuring correct pH, viscosity, and appearance.
- MAINTAINED REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
Documented all batches, raw material usage, and test results, and adhered with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- CALIBRATED INSTRUMENTATION:
Sanitized, calibrated, and maintained laboratory equipment including high-shear mixers, homogenizers, viscometers, and pH meters (once a year).
- MANAGED INVENTORY:
Tracked raw chemical stock levels and packaging components, updating the laboratory database to prevent supply shortages.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree Name or High School Diploma
- OSHA Laboratory Safety Certification
- + point Optional

PAY RATE
$20.00 - $25.00
PER HOUR
Depending on experience
