Job description
Fusion Life Science Solutions LLC is hiring a full-time Laboratory Operations Manager in Gainesville, Georgia. In this on-site role, you will oversee daily laboratory operations, support research and development, and help ensure laboratory services meet applicable safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily laboratory operations and promote compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and guide laboratory staff in analytical techniques and methods.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve laboratory workflows.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and procurement, ensuring instruments are calibrated and operational.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and development projects.
- Monitor laboratory budgets and resources, identifying cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in Analytical Chemistry.
- Experience managing laboratory operations or leading a team in a scientific environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory software and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Laboratory management certifications are preferred.
- At least five years of relevant experience is desirable.
