CDS Building Movers is expanding our field crew for the remainder of the 2026 season. With over 45 years of excellence serving Ottawa and surrounding regions, we are seeking dependable, punctual, and hard-working tabourers to assist with specialized structural moving operations. Position Overview - Pay: Starting at $23/hr + overtime potential - Term: Seasonal (Immediate start through the remainder of the 2026 season) - Schedule: Full-time (weekdays with rare or weekend and overnight) - Location: Daily start from shop at 3100 County Rd. 7, Chesterville, ON Key Responsibilities: - Building support structures, including installing steel beams and constructing wood cribb ing and piers. - Assisting with hydraulic jacking operations and building lifting procedures. - Loading, unloading, and staging heavy tools, rigging, and job site materials. - Maintaining strict adherence to workplace health and safety protocols Qualifications & Requirements: - Strict punctuality and reliable on-time arrival for daily morning shop dispatches - Reliable personal transportation to the Chesterville shop - High physical fitness and the ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs regularly - Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to remain composed under pressure - Asset: Prior construction experience or traffic control/safety certifications Submit your application.
