About the role
Sidcoreconsulting is seeking a Land and Community Relations Officer in Pagbilao, Philippines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, land acquisition, right-of-way, or external affairs.
- Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, power, or large-scale construction projects is an advantage. Experience working with rural communities and government agencies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of land titles, deeds, and legal documentation; government permitting and regulatory requirements; negotiation and conflict resolution techniques; community dislocation and public engagement; and LGU coordination processes and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, stakeholder management, problem-solving and decision-making, time management and organizational skills, and report writing and documentation skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. GIS and mapping are an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork, and ability to work flexible hours when community meetings or negotiations require it.
