Land Language Culture Coordinator-Pre-Cam

Tasks

• Support school and community by sharing, supporting, and promoting land-based knowledge.
• Work with the principal, teachers, parents, Elders, and community members as a team in implementing and coordinating all aspects of language and land-based education.
• Assist in developing a positive, caring, and supportive culture and climate which closely aligns to the tea

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication and organization skills.
• Speaking Cree, Dene or Michif would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work with all school staff, children, youth, caregivers, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community members in a positive manner.
• Experience in working with First Nations schools and communities.
• First-hand experience facilitating land-based learning.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

• Full-Time

Pay

• $26.99 - $31.57 per hour -According to education and experience.
