The environment calls for experienced technical leaders who can take ownership, guide engineering decisions, and collaborate effectively with developers, product partners, and business stakeholders.What’s In Store For YouEngagement: W2 only; no C2C or 1099 arrangements.Hybrid opportunity: Work from the Jersey City, New Jersey office as part of a collaborative technology team.Lead the design and delivery of business-critical backend and data-processing solutions.Influence application architecture, cloud implementation, engineering standards, and technical direction.Mentor junior developers while remaining closely involved in hands-on development.Gain exposure to regulatory reporting technology and large-scale financial data environments.How You Will Make An ImpactLead the design and development of scalable backend applications using Python and Django.Build secure, high-performing RESTful APIs and web services that support enterprise applications.Develop and optimize data-processing solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Delta tables.Integrate Azure cloud services to support application deployment, data processing, monitoring, and management.Design and maintain ETL pipelines that collect, transform, validate, and store large volumes of data.Improve SQL and NoSQL database performance, data quality, and storage efficiency.Participate in architecture discussions and make technical decisions that support performance, security, and scalability.Conduct code reviews and promote development standards, reusable patterns, and engineering best practices.Partner with front-end engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver complete technical solutions.Mentor junior developers and help strengthen the team’s backend and cloud-development capabilities.Demonstrate accountability for project commitments, technical quality, and successful delivery outcomes.Do You Have the Expertise to Lead in Django Backend and Azure Data Engineering?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.At least 10 years of backend software-development experience.At least 10 years of hands-on experience developing applications with Django.Advanced Python development experience in enterprise application or data-processing environments.Proven experience designing secure and scalable RESTful APIs and web services.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Delta tables.Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.Experience developing ETL pipelines and processing high-volume datasets.Experience with Git-based source control, code reviews, and Agile delivery practices.Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and scalable architecture.Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring less-experienced developers.Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Proactive, dependable, and committed to taking ownership of technical outcomes.To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications.-------About us:Axiom Path is a global solutions provider leveraging AI and pre-built analytics to deliver exceptional services across various domains.
