About The Role
The Lead Flight Follower plays a critical role in ensuring timely communications and updates from pilots across the state. Using the latest technology and strong multitasking skills, you’ll be responsible for tracking each flight and helping keep our team safe — while also leading, training, and supporting a small team of Flight Followers through the busy summer season.

Flight Following / Safety
• Track and monitor flights across the state using the latest tracking technology
• Maintain timely, accurate communication and updates with pilots
• Ensure every flight is accounted for and our team stays safe
• Respond quickly and calmly to changing situations with strong multitasking

Leadership & Supervision
• Supervise a team of 2 Flight Followers during the spring and summer seasons
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to new team members
• Create and manage work schedules to ensure full coverage
• Serve as a point of contact and escalation for your team
• Support general leadership duties, including quality checks and valid documentation

What We’re Looking For
• 21+ years old (required)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong technical competency
• Comfort using modern tracking and communication technology
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Aviation experience is preferred but not required

Training, Pay & Benefits
• Training is provided — no aviation background necessary
• Pay to start: $23/hr, DOE
