Role Overview

Jay is seeking a Lead Full Stack Mobile Engineer based in San Antonio, Texas, to take full ownership of technical projects and deliver innovative cross-platform mobile applications. This role demands a proactive leader skilled in .NET MAUI, React, and Node.js backend development, with a strong background in QSR industry solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own projects from design through production deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Analyze complex problems independently and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS using .NET MAUI.
• Build and manage backend APIs and services with Node.js.
• Integrate React-based components where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with product management and design teams.
• Debug and optimize mobile app performance for best user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
• Mandatory QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry experience.
• Backend development expertise using Node.js.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and mobile app architecture.
• Experience with app deployment processes on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and debugging tools.

Compensation: $60 per hour (contract position)

Location: On-site in San Antonio, Texas (Remote not eligible)
