Lead Full Stack Mobile Engineer in San Antonio, TX

Role Overview

Jay is seeking a Lead Full Stack Mobile Engineer based in San Antonio, Texas, to take full ownership of technical projects and lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications. This role requires expertise in .NET MAUI, React, and backend Node.js services to build scalable, high-performance mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end from design through production deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Analyze complex problems independently and implement effective solutions.
• Develop cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS using .NET MAUI.
• Build and maintain backend APIs and services with Node.js.
• Work with React-based components where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver quality features.
• Debug and optimize application performance for mobile platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin for mobile development.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, especially with React Native.
• Must have experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• Backend development experience using Node.js.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and mobile app architecture.
• Experience with app deployment processes on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Nice to Have

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile apps.
• Skills in performance optimization and use of debugging tools.
