Lead SAP Basis Consultant/Architect

Tasks

• Own end-to-end SAP Basis and RISE technical architecture for S/4HANA brownfield migration.
• Lead current-state assessments, target architecture, technical readiness, and migration planning.
• Coordinate with SAP RISE/ECS, hyperscaler, infrastructure, networking, and security teams.
• Oversee system topology, sizing, high availability, disaster recovery, connectivity, monitoring, and backup.
• Lead SUM/DMO planning, sandbox conversions, mock cutovers, downtime optimization, and production cutover readiness.
• Establish SAP Basis standards for HANA, S/4HANA, interfaces, RFCs, certificates, job scheduling, and integrations.
• Drive technical issue resolution, risk management, and critical migration decisions.
• Provide architecture recommendations, executive-level updates, and technical risk assessments.
• Mentor-based engineers and support knowledge transfer to future operations teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive SAP Basis experience with architecture-level responsibilities.
• Must have completed at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA brownfield migration to SAP RISE / RISE with SAP.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, system administration, upgrades, conversions, and landscape management.
• Proven experience with SUM/DMO, system migration, downtime planning, cutover execution, and post-migration stabilization.
