Lead/Senior SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead / Senior SAP BusinessObjects Developer to take ownership of our enterprise-wide financial reporting landscape.

Tasks

• Lead end-to-end development and support of SAP BusinessObjects financial reporting solutions; build and maintain scalable Universes (UNX/UNV) using Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Design and build complex Web Intelligence (WebI) reports, executive dashboards, and KPI scorecards covering P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs. Actual, Forecast, and Variance Analysis.
• Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury leaders to translate complex business requirements into high-impact reporting tools.
• Integrate SAP BO reporting across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW4HANA, SAP HANA, and non-SAP data platforms.
• Optimize query performance, report redesign, indexing, and universe modeling; manage report scheduling, bursting, automated distribution, and environment deployments (Dev/QA/UAT/Prod).
• Deliver mission-critical reports under tight deadlines during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes; provide Level 3 production support and root-cause analysis.
• Enforce SOX, audit, security, and data governance controls; lead reporting modernization and migration initiatives toward HANA-based solutions.
