Job description
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for driving regional learning, talent development, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across Latin America. This role partners with local HR and business leaders to design, implement, and continuously improve development programs, talent processes, employee experience initiatives, and organizational communications that support business growth and leadership capability.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild the planning, coordination, and execution of regional Learning & Development initiatives across Latin America.Design, develop, and maintain training materials, facilitator guides, learning resources, and digital learning content.Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including curriculum management, course assignments, reporting, compliance tracking, and user support.Coordinate training sessions and reinforcement activities to strengthen organizational culture and leadership behaviors.Analyze learning, talent, and organizational metrics through dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights to HR and business leaders.Coordinate regional language development (English Program) and professional development programs.Facilitate coaching processes and monitor development action plans to ensure effective employee growth and performance improvement.Coordinate & support the annual Performance Management cycle, including Goal Setting, Mid-Year Review, and Annual Performance Evaluations.Support talent management processes, including Key Talent identification, Employee Development Plans (EDPs), Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), retention initiatives, and behavioral follow-up actions.Coordinate and analyze regional Employee Engagement Surveys, communicate results, and partner with leaders to develop and monitor action plans that improve organizational effectiveness.Lead employee recognition, engagement, and culture-building initiatives that strengthen the employee experience.Coordinate employee experience activities, including onboarding, anniversaries, organizational events, and regional culture initiatives.Develop and execute internal communications supporting learning, talent management, organizational change, and employee engagement.Partner with regional HR team, business leaders, and external vendors to ensure successful execution of talent and development programs.Identify opportunities to improve learning processes, employee experience, talent practices, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Organizational Development or Education.3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Human Resources.Experience supporting regional or multinational organizations is preferred.Advanced English and Spanish required.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & AI use for daily tasks.Experience with Power BI and dashboard development.Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting talent and organizational data.Core CompetenciesLearning & Organizational DevelopmentTalent Management & Performance ManagementLeadership Development & CoachingEmployee Engagement & Organizational CultureTalent Analytics & Business InsightsChange ManagementInternal CommunicationsProject & Program ManagementStakeholder ManagementCross-cultural CollaborationContinuous Improvement
