Legal Counsel

Tasks

• Draft and negotiate commercial leasing documentation
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
• Advise on risk management and legal compliance matters
• Review and interpret contracts and legal agreements
• Provide day-to-day legal support to operations, leasing, property management, and leadership teams
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex legal matters and litigation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on commercial real estate
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases, renewals, amendments, offers to lease, and related agreements
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and due diligence
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders and business teams
• Experience working directly with landlords, tenants, brokers, and external legal counsel
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar
• Bilingual in English and French
