As a Licensed Clinical Assistant, you will assist certified and/or licensed practitioners in providing patient care services specific to their discipline. You will provide patient care for a range of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices under indirect supervision and perform other assigned tasks. You will work under the general direction of the ACM/CM or their designee.

Your impact

Principal duties and responsibilities (essential functions):

• Assist practitioners with patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for care.
• Make and modify molds and perform technical fabrication.
• Complete administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation of patient care provided.
• Evaluate selected orthotic and prosthetic needs of patients, including measuring, casting, fitting, and adjusting devices.
• Perform selected patient care procedures.
• Provide alterations to the fitting of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Provide patient follow-up for selected orthotic and prosthetic patients.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory monitoring, along with other clerical tasks.
• Contact vendors to order prosthetic and orthotic materials.
