Job description
About the role
Hanger, Inc. is a provider of orthotic and prosthetic services and products. As a Licensed Clinical Assistant, you will assist certified and/or licensed practitioners in providing patient care for orthotic and/or prosthetic devices under indirect supervision. You will work under the general direction of the ACM/CM or their designee.
Responsibilities
- Assist practitioners with patient care and prepare treatment rooms and patients for care.
- Make and modify molds and perform technical fabrication.
- Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
- Evaluate selected orthotic and prosthetic needs, including measuring, casting, fitting, and adjusting devices.
- Perform selected patient care procedures and provide alterations to device fittings.
- Provide follow-up for selected orthotic and prosthetic patients.
- Perform shipping, receiving, inventory monitoring, and other clerical tasks.
