Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Perform basic life support and emergency care as needed to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Mexico.
• Strong patient care skills with knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
