Job description
Capleo Global is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract position in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Provide quality patient care alongside physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and carry out patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health record documentation to support continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
- Perform routine clinical procedures as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Active New Mexico LPN license.
- At least one year of nursing experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care and clinical procedures.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are highly preferred.
