Job description
Capleo Global is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract nursing position in Silver City, New Mexico. Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care while collaborating with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs to support patient health and comfort.
- Help patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to carry out personalized care plans.
- Document care and promptly report changes in patient condition to registered nurses.
- Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, catheter insertion, and basic diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Active New Mexico LPN license.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide effective nursing care.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient safety protocols.
- One to three years of LPN/LVN experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
