About the role

Bearden Behavioral Health of Tennessee, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join the team in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions reflecting the needs of a diverse patient population. Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Provide treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods.
• Track treatment response and monitor changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the patient growth strategy by providing a profile for online directories and other marketing efforts.
