Job description
About the role
The Flats Eatery + Drink is looking for reliable and hardworking Cooks to join our kitchen team.
Tasks
- Prepare and cook food according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Ensure food is prepared quickly, consistently, and presented properly
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and restocking
- Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts
- Communicate and work well with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Complete opening and closing duties as required
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience is preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Good understanding
