Job description
Tasks
- Manage and support RHEL 8 servers across on-premises and AWS environments.
- Handle server provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
- Troubleshoot Linux OS, storage, application, and network-related issues.
- Implement security controls, vulnerability remediation, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
- Manage incidents, changes, and service requests using ServiceNow.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Linux System Administration experience
- Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8)
- Hands-on experience with AWS EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with Ansible and automation
- Knowledge of Linux patching, troubleshooting, security hardening, and performance monitoring
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow
