Job description
Karan P is hiring a full-time Litigation Paralegal in Jacksonville, Florida. In this collaborative, fast-paced role, you will support attorneys throughout the litigation process and help ensure cases are thoroughly prepared. The position offers a salary of $80,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize case files and evidence for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutory information.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in document management systems.
- Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate case-related matters with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
- Identify and summarize relevant documents during discovery.
- Track deadlines and maintain case calendars to support timely filings and responses.
Qualifications
- College degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Strong document management skills and experience handling high volumes of legal documents.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- At least 3 years of litigation support experience preferred; not required.
