Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files, exhibits, and evidence to ensure smooth proceedings. Conduct thorough legal research using advanced tools to gather relevant case law and statutes that strengthen case strategies. Manage document management systems meticulously, maintaining accurate, up-to-date records critical for case integrity. Draft and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests to support litigation efforts. Coordinate communications with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate case-related activities and deadlines. Identify and summarize key documents during the discovery process, enhancing case preparation efficiency. Track important deadlines and manage case calendars to ensure timely filings and responses, reducing risk of procedural delays. Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff on projects aimed at improving case outcomes and firm operations. What We're Looking For Required: College degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, demonstrating formal legal education. Strong document management skills with experience handling a high volume of legal documents efficiently. Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, essential for managing complex litigation files. Preferred: 3+ years of experience in litigation support, showcasing proven ability to handle demanding legal environments. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced legal setting.
