Maria Okeke is hiring a compassionate, reliable Live-In Certified Caregiver in Fountain Hills, Arizona. This full-time position is based in a licensed, small residential assisted living home serving seniors who need help with activities of daily living, including residents with dementia. A part-time relief caregiver is also needed for coverage and days off.
The live-in position includes private accommodations, meals, and utilities. Candidates should provide safe, dignified care and follow Arizona assisted living regulations and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other daily activities.
- Prepare and serve meals based on residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate Medication Administration Record (MAR) documentation.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to management.
- Provide dementia-appropriate support, reassurance, and redirection.
- Keep the home safe, clean, and organized.
- Communicate professionally with management and healthcare providers.
- Follow applicable Arizona assisted living regulations and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification.
- Completed state-approved 8-hour dementia training.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Arizona Food Handler’s Card.
- Current TB test completed within the last six months.
- Clean background check.
- Authorization to work in the United States; I-9 verification is required.

- At least one year of relevant caregiving experience.
