Loan Officer Assistant

Tasks

• Work up new applications and issue pre-approvals, and recommend alternative programs when there's a better fit
• Lead upfront document collection with clients and agents, with consistent follow-up
• Introduce yourself to clients and agents early and stay their go-to contact
• Keep our CRM current and send agents weekly file updates
• Guide files through initial underwriting review and clear conditions to approval
• Prepare loan summaries and updated pre-approvals so buyers know their payment and cash to close before they make an offer
• Coordinate the transition at contract and partner with processing through closing

Requirements

• Prior mortgage experience. I'll train you on our systems and process, but you won't be starting from zero
• Highly organized, proactive, and relentless about follow-up
• Flexible, and comfortable with a process that keeps evolving
• Excited to help build a better client and realtor experience
• Available for occasional evening or weekend texts. Not often, but expected when buyers and agents need us

Schedule

• Hybrid, with regular in-office time for game planning, business planning, and events
• Starting ASAP
