Locksmith Contract Position in Scottsdale, AZ

We are seeking a skilled Locksmith to join our team on a contract basis in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a vital role in the security industry, the Locksmith will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of properties by providing high-quality lock installation, repair, and key duplication services. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining customer trust and satisfaction through effective problem-solving and customer service skills.

We provide free training to technicians contracting with us. Training is free but unpaid.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and locking mechanisms in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform key cutting and duplication according to customer specifications.
• Assess and diagnose issues related to locks and security systems.
• Provide recommendations to customers regarding lock security and installation options.
• Offer excellent customer service, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered and inventory as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new advancements in security technology.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Drivers license.
• Tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
• Open availability including weekends.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Pass a background check.
• Proven experience in lock installation and repair.
• Proficiency in key cutting and duplication.
• Knowledge of security systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.
