Geopaq Log is seeking a skilled Logistics Operation Coordinator (Ocean Operation) for a contract position based in Santa Ana, California. This role is essential for managing and coordinating ocean freight logistics to ensure smooth and timely operations within the company’s supply chain. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee all aspects of ocean freight operations to guarantee efficient shipment handling. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for accurate and timely logistics coordination. Monitor ocean freight shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues. Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with ocean freight regulations. Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize operations. Assist in logistics planning and forecasting based on operational demands. Communicate shipment status and logistics updates effectively to stakeholders. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven expertise in Air Freight Operations and Logistics Coordination. Strong knowledge and understanding of Ocean Freight processes and regulations. Experience working in logistics environments, preferably focused on freight operations. Proficiency with logistics software and industry-relevant tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
