Essential Responsibilities

Set up and operate equipment including, but not limited to, saws, polishers, grinders, hand tools, NC and manual milling machines, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) as requiredProduce high-quality partsOperate one or more NC Machines as requiredFollow standard escalation processAdhere to and follow standard workVoucher as requiredComplete Training/Certification as requiredFollow detailed verbal and written instructionsPerform material handling duties as requiredPerform operator preventative maintenance per workstation standardsSafely perform required rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipmentParticipate in process improvement, cycle reduction, and other activities as required to support the Bangor team and site goalsCommunicate effectively and work well with othersMaintain accurate written and computer recordsRead and understand engineering drawings and specifications as requiredUse gauging equipment as requiredPerform calculations as requiredComplete monthly/annual online training when assignedPerform tasks as assigned on NC Machine Tool Operator training matrixPerform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Graduate of any recognized machinist or tool maker course (e.g. tech school, industrial or Armed Forces program)OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 1 year experience in set up and operation of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) multi-access machining

Desired Characteristics

Two-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool TechnologyMinimum of 2 years manual machining (mill, turn or drill) experience

Flexibility: Willingness to work A, B C, or D Shift.A: 5AM - 3:30PM (MON, TUES, WED, TH)B: 3:30PM - 2AM (MON, TUES, WED, TH)C: 6AM - 6:30PM (FRI, SAT, SUN)D: 6PM - 6:30AM (FRI, SAT, SUN)Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation.All candidates must successfully pass a written machinist assessment, background check, and drug screen.

Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $33.7190/hour - $38.3614/hour plus a 10% shift bonus. An additional 10% shift bonus is available for certain shifts. This posting is expected to close once suitable candidates are identified.

Additional Benefits

Sign-On Bonus: Qualified external candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus ranging from $6,000 to $10,000. Paid in increments.Relocation Assistance: Candidates relocating more than 50 miles may be eligible for relocation assistance of up to $5,000.

Bonus and relocation eligibility vary by role and are subject to company policy and program requirements.
