Maintenance Engineer

Reporting directly to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring and recording day-to-day electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs, follow-ups, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Key Responsibilities:
* Breakdown Recovery & PPM
* Specialised Machinery Maintenance
* Log all planned work, enter equipment data, and update records within the site's CMMS system.
* Shift Handovers & Parts
* Actively uphold absolute food safety (GMP/SOPs) and health & safety protocols, including "lockout tagout" procedures.

What We Are Looking For:
* A relevant Trades qualification as an approved Electrician or Fitter.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment as a multi-skilled engineer (post-apprenticeship).
* Comprehensive knowledge of high-speed mechanical, electrical, automation, and PLC control systems (ability to read electrical drawings is a must).
* Experience with industrial microwaves, gas ovens, and high-voltage systems is highly advantageous.
* A strong, safety-conscious team player with a can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
