Maintenance Person

Billabong Sanctuary is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Person to join our team for a 6 month contract!

This unique role involves working alongside our current maintenance staff to ensure the park is safe, well-presented, and running smoothly for both our animals and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
General park and path maintenance
Enclosure updates and repairs
Carpentry, plumbing, and light building tasks
Tool and equipment upkeep
Grounds and irrigation maintenance
General maintenance tasks within the 30 acre property

Requirements:
Basic trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, general building, tool use)
Eye for detail
Physically fit and capable of working in an outdoor North Queensland environment
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
