Job description
About the role
DSJ Global is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a high-volume production facility. The role focuses on leading maintenance technicians, improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop maintenance technicians and craftsmen.
- Provide troubleshooting support to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Drive preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance initiatives.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities, work assignments, and planned maintenance.
- Partner with operations and plant leadership to improve uptime and production performance.
- Monitor maintenance inventory and support storeroom spending objectives.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety, environmental, and maintenance standards.
- Lead maintenance-related safety meetings, training initiatives, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Support reliability improvement projects, continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, repairs, and maintenance planning.
- Coach technicians on troubleshooting techniques, maintenance best practices, and safety procedures.
- Drive accountability for maintenance KPIs and reliability metrics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of maintenance supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience supporting corrugator equipment within a corrugated packaging environment.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
